Marmareen features

The Holy Quran

Read and listen to the Quran, exactly as published.

The Uthmani text in a mushaf font, from Tanzil. Browse by surah, juz, hizb or ruku, search the text, keep bookmarks, and pick up where you stopped.

Listen ayah by ayah with the screen off while each ayah is highlighted, build recitation plans, and download any of 19 translations in 9 languages.

Prayer times

Know the time of every prayer, wherever you are.

Prayer times for your city or location, calculated on your phone with Umm al-Qura by default and other methods to choose from.

Alerts with a tune, a beep or vibration only, a home-screen widget, and the whole day drawn from the real times.

Duas from the Quran

Duas exactly as in the mushaf, and your own.

Duas from the Quran shown exactly as in the mushaf, and your own duas with titles, all searchable.

Share any dua or zikr as a designed image.

Duas from the Quran

Qibla and Tawaf

Find the qibla, and keep count in the Haram.

A compass that shows how far to turn, with the distance to the Kaaba measured from where you are.

A seven-round Tawaf counter that fills the way tawaf is walked.

Your own zikr, never forgotten

Build the zikr you want to keep each day, and Marmareen reminds you, counts with you and shows when it is done. You never have to remember what to read, or how many times.

  1. Build it

Pick ayat from the Quran, write your own words, add a photo of a written dua, or start from a ready set like 33 · 33 · 34. Set how many times each one is read.

  2. Schedule it

Choose how many times a day, which days, and for how long. Get a gentle reminder at set times or after a prayer you choose.

  3. Count it

Tap anywhere on the screen to count. The tasbih moves bead by bead with a soft vibration, and you can stop and pick up where you left off.

  4. See it done

Your zikr turns green when it is done for the day, and a calendar shows your month at a glance.
